什么是温度控制系统？(a temperature control system?)
温度控制系统是一种可编程恒温器，无论外部条件如何波动，都能使家庭或办公室保持在所需温度。与普通恒温器相比，这种系统的优点在于，它可以在白天和晚上的不同时间自动保持不同的温度，从而节省能源和金钱。
这种类型的系统由一个小型数字设备组成，连接到加热和冷却系统。温度控制系统的大小与传统的壁挂式恒温器差不多，它包含一块电路板和存储芯片。将系统设置为所需温度（即设定点）后，系统将根据需要利用加热器或空调在编程的持续时间内保持该设置。
例如，在冬季的几个月里，你可能希望你的家在早晨起床时被加热到71华氏度（21.6摄氏度）。如果房间在白天是空的，则无需保持该温度，控制系统可设置为允许其自然降至另一预设温度。它可以被预设为在你或其他家庭成员正常到家前30分钟休息。当住户睡觉时，温度控制系统可以保持较冷的设置，在住户醒来前预热。所有这些不同的温度和时间或设定点都是由用户预先设定的，以便在无需手动调整恒温器的情况下自动完成过程。
