什么是手续费？(a processing fee?)
当一个人获得贷款、信用卡或雇佣某人提供某种类型的服务时，大多数情况下，该人会被收取手续费。有许多不同类型的费用，但大多数用于支付文书服务或其他杂项费用。费用通常在一个人申请贷款、信用卡或雇用某人提供服务时支付。即使此人最终没有获得贷款或信用卡的批准，在大多数情况下，费用是不可退还的。

与抵押贷款一样，汽车贷款也伴随着手续费。这些费用通常用于确定交易报酬、核实个人信息和公证服务。大部分时间，汽车贷款费用也被用来追踪丢失的汽车。
信用卡处理费有各种各样的金额。在申请信用卡的过程中，一个人通常会支付处理申请的费用。信用卡费用也由接受信用卡支付的公司支付。一些零售商不会接受某些类型的信用卡，因为接受信用卡的相关费用太高，这导致零售商在接受信用卡付款时几乎没有利润。费用不仅与信用卡相关，还与借记卡和预付卡相关。
