什么是实物支付？(payment in kind?)
实物支付是以有价值的商品和服务的形式提供的补偿，而不是现金形式。这种做法由来已久，在世界各地的许多社会中都可以看到。如果某人将获得商品或服务的实物补偿，则必须在交易开始时披露，以提供拒绝的机会。
食物和伙食就是一个例子。这是一种支付方式，通常提供给像牧场工人和住店员工这样的人。通常，该工作人员也会获得少量工资，食宿作为整体薪酬的一部分。易货是另一个例子；例如，农民可以用鸡蛋换蔬菜。
许多公司将实物支付作为福利的一部分，以债券和其他证券的形式代表员工存入退休账户。公司也可以向员工提供股票作为补偿。公司向许多零售业员工提供的折扣是另一个例子。在所有这些情况下，没有以法定货币提供赔偿，但商品和服务的提供者仍然收到有价值的东西。
